After a surprisingly dominant season and ACC championship game appearance, the Yellow Jackets make it back to the Orange Bowl. This time, they thrash Mississippi State and leave Miami with a 49-34 victory. As per tradition, the Reck leads the team out onto the field at Sun Life Stadium before the game.

On Labor Day, the Reck leads the Yellow Jacket football team out on to the field at Mercedes-Benz Stadium before it faces the Tennessee Volunteers to cap off one of the most-anticipated opening weekends in college football history. Unfortunately, the Jackets fall 42-41 in 2OT.
